Each mentor is matched with 5-10 students, ensuring a tailored and impactful mentoring relationship.

The name "Day & Knight" symbolizes our commitment to instilling lifelong skills in our students. Mentors use their chess experiences to offer insightful perspectives and empathetic support, creating peer relationships that extend beyond traditional guidance counseling.
The program includes primarily virtual one-on-one meetings, supplemented by in-person group workshops and special events. Topics covered include college application guidance, financial literacy, well-being practices, and workforce readiness. Each student receives 10 one-on-one virtual meetings with their mentor across the academic year,
The program includes primarily virtual one-on-one meetings, supplemented by in-person group workshops and special events. Topics covered include college application guidance, financial literacy, well-being practices, and workforce readiness. Each student receives 10 one-on-one virtual meetings with their mentor across the academic year, lasting 45 minutes each, along with access to workshops and events. We propose two sessions per academic year: an initial session to establish connections and a concluding session to assess progress and refine goals.
